MAG-7: funny moments

This is the copy of my post MAG-7: забавное but I decided to share it with the world (yes, I know, the world will be really 'happy') so I translated it.
So. The Magnificent Seven is perfect but there are some interesting or unusual scenes and some scenes has big "?". When I watched MAG7 last time, I picked out some of these scenes. Please, notice: I'm huge Chris and Vin fan, so all this is about them.

MAG-7: funny moments

Here Chris Larabee/Vin Tanner (Magnificent Seven) (and this article is really great) an author writes "Vin seems to initiate a forearm grip with Chris in Safecracker". But in this scene we can see: no, Chris initiates it.

Again Safecracker. I love a scene when Chris "kills" Buck. But how Chris does it? Ok, he shoots blank but seems like he changed guns before shooting. He shoots a spare colt and scratches his hand by his usual colt. But Chris never wears a spare colt... Or I don't understand something?

Sometimes Vin has colt too. But according to a sсript and his own habit he is armed only mare's leg and Winchester. Btw, there is a discussion about mare's leg on IMDb: this thing is real heavy and it's hard to wear it all day long.

Inmate 78. This is my favorite. This is Chris' colt, but why Vin (not Buck) keeps it?

About Pilot. I can't stop to wonder about it. The scene of Chris and Vin meeting – no comments.
Funny scene in Seminole village. The bond itself:

The great scene when Chris removes a handcuff. But in reality the handcuff is very loose:

Witness. When Mary Travis woke up and discovered Billy is missing and she runs along the street. And Vin meets her. Question: where did Vin come from? He sleeps in the wagon. The wagon is "V" on the map. Red arrow is Vin's route that morning in "Witness". So... who does live in Boarding House?

Btw, about Chris' room. I thought a room in One Day Out West is his because he said "the room I rent" but it's wrong, this room is on a second floor of Grain Exchange.
About Chris and Mary. Chris' behavior around her is taletelling. He even doesn't blink when cowboy hits her in Pilot and he even doesn't turn around when she speaks to him in "Witness". Not mentioning the fact he doesn't get up when she came.
And I understand Chris. Her speech about her boy and her false condolences in One Day Out West – it's real hard to bear, I know it because I was in Chris shoes.

Nemesis. This is a proof that Chris lives in Boarding House: he came from an alley behind the saloon and he came without a gunbelt:

This is just funny: Vin Tanner is so deadly dangerous capable person and Eric Close can't handle a cork from a flask:

Manhunt. In this scene Chris sounds and looks (facial expressions, gestures) exactly like Lt. Curran in Navy SEALs when he says "We move together, only together"

Inmate 78. One from the best episodes, IMHO. Chris here is Chris himself, without a shadow of grief.
1. Why he wears a white shirt from the beginning?

2. Uh... I understand the rating of this movie rises up if Michael Biehn shows his wonderful chest but hey, Chris is in a prison and stunt like this is dangerous! Well, you understand... Anyway this episode was shot in December, it's cold! Poor Chris.

Btw, about chest. Only one person from the Seven wasn't bare chest in entire movie – Vin. And Eric Close has nothing to be ashamed about, he is perfect in "Now and Again" (1999-2000, just after MAG7). Or this is a reason, he is too perfect for Old West?
3. Michael Biehn's mistake. Blood is on the right side but he presses hand on the left.

4. This is funny. I read about this in "Silent World" by Tarlan, and she is right! Chris' eyes on word "tracker":

5. Vin's photo. Where did it come from? Why Vin (hunter, tracker, penniless) ever did his own photo? The photos of Larabee family in Obsession are weird too, but Obsession itself is one big weird mistake.

About a bounty for Vin's head. Vin wanted "dead or alive" but this line isn't necessary on bounty posters:

And more about Vin's bounty. Pilot. The fact that Vin said a stranger his full name is either nonsence or a proof of their bond:

The New Law. Vin very funny interprets their traditional "watch your back":

Very interesting foreshortening: we can see a piercing in Biehn's ear. And piercing not completely match with image of notoriously gunslinger. Especially a gunslinger with blank dead eyes

Vendetta. This is very hard episode. An eye for an eye leaves us blind © Josiah. And the end of the episode is like a nail in a lid of a coffin. Coffin of Chris' future. Remember not to forget © Who can endure a life with a person with this credo?

Actors' play in the second season is just amazing. Magnificent. No, they don't play, they live lives of their characters. After Vendetta MAG7 is not TV Series, this is a drama of real people.
Wagon Train I. Repeat myself: this is a drama. Again I refer to this Chris Larabee/Vin Tanner (Magnificent Seven) Chris really having fun with Mary and Gerard:

But he is very serious with Vin and Charlotte. There is nothing funny from the beginning long before hell broken loose:

Vin also acts great. Here he first time lost control. Even hangman's noose around his neck did not make him do it but Chris did. And I absolutely don't like Charlotte. Cheating in front of her husband – it's disgusting.
Chris and Vin often share each other personal space. We can see it almost always when they are on a screen together. It was in Pilot, and it still constant:

Can anybody tell me why Chris wears suspenders? It's not like his pants are going to fall down.

Wagon Train II. Drama continues. Despite my disliking of Charlotte the story with this affair is really necessary. We can't say "Vin couldn't leave" if he didn't try. I can't stop to wonder how rude he left Charlotte. Really rude – and this is Vin, who is so protective!

This is a very hard scene too: he came back to Chris, but Chris doesn't trust him anymore. Poor Vin. Always so strong and capable and he managed to make such stupid mess...

Eric Close is a narrator in WT2.
Michael Biehn has very funny manner to lift women's bodies (notice his hands):

Chinatown. After WT an order of episodes is different in different versions of the movie. I think it's right when "Serpents" is a last episode but it isn't in my copy of MAG7.
I don't like a shadow of mustache on Chris' face. When I watched this episode first time I really panicked about this. Biehn and a mustache – it's a bad mix.

There is a very funny thing in this episode. Chris is disgusted when railway boss touches him: "Touch me again, you'll see how serious I am".

And here is Chris with Vin (from Love and Honor). Btw, we can see how Vin wears his mare's leg:

This is mare's leg in Chinatown. This thing costs $1500 now.

Achilles. I adore this episode. Most magnificent and absolutely stunning thing in it – Vin's poem. The shining eyes of the tracker when he recites "A Hero's Heart"... I don't know, I don't have Russian words left alone English.

Again about personal space... or rather the lack of personal space:

Sitting on the desk is Eric Close's habit. Books on the desk are interesting part of this scene too: only Chris and Josiah like to read books. But Josiah read in the church, so these are Chris' books, right? So seems like Chris spend many time in a jail (and not in saloon with whiskey and cards).

Funny moment is when Chris grabs a plate. Question: who will clean the mess in jail?

Penance. Chris really likes to be a law in a town (and this makes 'Obsession' more weird and wrong).

Again about the bond:

And one more. I like the way these guys just stand and stare to each other.

The Trial. Super episode. Either Chris and Vin lost track of reality or Biehn and Close are bored but they talk during entire trial. And the guys don't pay any attention to the drama in court. Or rather Biehn does not pay: looks like he asks and Close answers.

Also Mr. Biehn straightens his clothes when he doesn't talk. Btw, Vin doesn't always wear spurs. But he lived with Comanche and Kiowa so he doesn't have to wear them at all.

When Close says Vin's line Biehn looks really shocked:

This is weird shirt. Exactly shirt's buttons. The buttons on the top is normal of course but why the buttons are at the bottom?

Serpents. I always wonder, Mary ever thought about the fact that she almost killed a man (Ezra) with her stubborn position?
About that shooting. The bullet hit money + blood flooded money. So as a result there left less than $10000. And why Chris didn't give that money Vin for safekeeping? Money absolutely isn't Vin's serpent.

Btw, about Vin's serpent: guns are passion of Eric Close, so Vin's admiration is real.

And the last. Smiling Chris is the best end of the movie. I really hate Obsession and could watch it only separate from the entire MAG7. "Serpents" sums up most problems, Chris has money for a ranch, Vin tired to shoot people...

P.S. One question about Obsession. The spot on Chris' left shoulder. What is it? This is not a permanent scar.
